Santander Teleport participates one more year as an exhibitor at the 2020 edition of the SATELLITE show held in Washington DC, to present its services to the satellite industry sector. This year, Santander Teleport has had the support of the ICEX, as well as the financing of European FEDER Funds, contributing according to the extent of these to the international growth of the company.
Santander Teleport has been nominated as one of the 3 finalists of the 2019 Independent Teleport of the Year award. The American company COMSAT and the German company Talia are the other two teleport operators shortlisted for this award, which is hosted by the World Teleport Association (WTA) during the Satellite trade show in Washington in March this year.
This will be the third consecutive year that Santander Teleport is shortlisted, and the current winner of this prestigious prize.
Santander Teleport has once again made it to the Fast 10 Top Teleport Operators rank published by the World Teleport Association (WTA), this time to lead this list.
Each year, the WTA publishes the world´s rankings of companies that operate teleports for commercial purposes. The Fast 10 ranks all teleport-operating companies based on year-over-year revenue growth in their most recent fiscal year. Santander Teleport, located in Spain, was the fastest of the fast with a 45% year-over-year organic growth.

The World Teleport Association (WTA) has announced that Santander Teleport has achieved full certification of its teleport in Santander, Spain under WTA’s Teleport Certification Program.
Santander Teleport joins forces with Hisdesat Servicios Estrategicos and Telefonica de España to provide advanced welfare and recreational services to Spanish forces deployed on ground and at sea in several areas of operations. A completely new network is being deployed to provide secured broadband internet access, telephone calls, e-learning, live TV as well as on demand content (TV series, movies, documentaries, books, news…). Users will be able to access these services through their own mobile devices (BYOD).

Santander Teleport and RBC Signals have joined forces to provide ground segment services to reposition a geostationary satellite to a new orbital location. The maneuver will enable the satellite to find a new home after several weeks of controlled drift completed later this year.
The World Teleport Association (WTA) has published its annual rankings of the Top Teleport Operators of 2018. The annual rankings of companies by revenue growth shows SANTANDER TELEPORT in the 8th position, making it to The Fast 10 ranking again this year. In last year´s edition of the same ranking, SANTANDER TELEPORT made it to the top position.
